Rob Bob is a one-night-only solo exhibition featuring works by Robert Goldstone. The featured works are a collection of found objects which were given a new life with a coat (or many coats!) of glitter. Goldstone began working on the featured series of “Glitter Art” in his early 70’s. The works, which eventually filled up every corner of Goldstone’s residence were found by his granddaughter who was tasked with cleaning out his house during his transition to an assisted living facility. It’s important to note that these works were never meant to be shared or presented or sold in any formal way― they were created for the sole reason that Goldstone loved and continues to love to create them. The artwork will be presented with a short documentary piece about Goldstone created by Caroline Symons in 2017.

Robert Goldstone was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1931. He currently lives and continues to make art in New Rochelle, NY.
